Interested in decreasing LC run times or solvent consumption? The Pro EZLC Method Translator lets you explore the benefits a change in column dimension and/or particle size can offer. It also predicts new retention times and calculates critical pair resolutions to determine if a new column and method will deliver the performance you need

Using the Volume Effects Fields

Providing an original Injection Volume ensures a properly scaled value for the new column dimensions. Dwell Volume affects Retention Time calculations. Extra-Column Volume affects Critical Pair Resolution calculations. Both are instrument-specific values found in the instrument’s documentation or by contacting the vendor (see Glossary for more details). Providing instrument-specific values will result in the most accurate retention time and resolution calculations.

Note: Original and translated methods must use columns with the same stationary phase, mobile phase, and particle type (i.e. SPP or FPP).
